Born and raised in Catholic families, Tim and Jane Olson came to the Lord in 1976 in St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduating from ABI in 1979, they helped to pioneer home missions works in Hastings and Moorhead, Minnesota, as well as a daughter work in Ashley, North Dakota. Following a three-year tenure at ABI, the Olsons were appointed as missionaries to Russia where they founded a church and three daughter works in and around St. Petersburg. People from Finland and Moldova have received the Holy Ghost in St. Petersburg and returned to their homelands where they have been instrumental in starting churches in these nations that were without a UPCI work. The Olsons transferred to Scandinavia in 2006. They now live in Oslo, Norway and oversee the work in the Nordic nations of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
